En enero de 2015, Francia ganó el 24º Campeonato del Mundo Adulto Masculino en Qatar, y el 1º de agosto el equipo junior sumó otro trofeo a la vitrina de la Federación Francesa con la victoria en la final de Brasil 2015. Por Panamérica participaron el local, Argentina, Chile, Paraguay y Uruguay.
Francia se quedó con el título tras imponerse en la final a Dinamarca, mientras que el tercer puesto quedó para Alemania luego de superar a Egipto en doble suplementario.
Los equipos de nuestro continente tuvieron suerte dispar: Brasil y Argentina lograron avanzar a Octavos de Final, mientras que Chile, Paraguay y Uruguay jugaron la Copa Presidente. Los brasileños quedaron en el 10º lugar tras caer con Qatar, Argentina finalizó 13º luego de vencer a Portugal, Uruguay quedó 21º merced al triunfo ante Angola y Chile quedó penúltimo tras superar a Paraguay, que quedó último.

In January 2015 France won the 24th Men’s World Handball Championship in Qatar, and on August 1 the junior team added another trophy to the French Handball Federation’s cabinet with a victory in the Brazil 2015 final. Panamerica was represented by the host, Argentina, Chile, Paraguay and Uruguay.
France earned the title after beating Denmark in the final match. Third place was for Germany after defeating Egypt in double overtime.
The teams from our continent had different luck: Brazil and Argentina advanced to Eight Finals and Chile, Paraguay and Uruguay played the President’s Cup. The Brazilian team ended 10th after losing against Qatar, Argentina arrived to 13th place thanks to their victory against Portugal, Uruguay earned 21st place after winning against Angola and Chile won against Paraguay, to send the Paraguayans to the last spot.
